ISLAMABAD: Controversies erupted in the PTI core committee meeting, Hamid Raza piled on grievances, Latif Khosa, Salman Akram Raja and Shoaib Shaheen erupted against Sher Afzal Marwat. Several core committee members left the meeting unfinished.
The core committee meeting of PTI and Sunni Etihad Council was held at Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf Barrister Gohar Ali Khan. Sahibzada Hamid Raza, Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ali Amin Gandapur, Umar Ayub, Shah Farman, Shoaib Shaheen, Ali Muhammad Khan, Babar Awan, Niazullah Niazi and other members of PTI and Sunni Unity Council also participated in the meeting.
The core committee considered the names of candidates for the Senate. Three important points were discussed in the meeting, Imran Khan’s legal team briefed the core committee regarding the cases. The core committee demanded that Imran Khan’s cases be terminated immediately.
According to the sources, concerns were expressed regarding the security of Bushra Bibi in the meeting, on which the core committee has condemned it.
Regarding the election, the core committee said that recounting has started in Punjab, our won seats are being lost, the core committee also appealed to the concerned officials to take notice in this regard.
