In the last group match of Pakistan Super League (PSL), Multan Sultans defeated Quetta Gladiators and made it to the qualifiers.
Multan Sultans are occupying the first position with 14 points with 7 victories in 10 matches on the points table while Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi is in the second position with 13 points.
The fourth-placed Gladiators, after their loss to Sultans, will face third-placed Islamabad United in the first eliminator on Friday.
The winner of the qualifier will directly qualify for the final of PSL 9 scheduled for Monday, March 18, while the runner-up of the qualifier will have another chance to reach the final by taking on the winner of the first eliminator in Eliminator 2 on Saturday, March 16.
