Tweeting on social networking site X (Twitter), Waqar Younis suggested to Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi that 6 teams are too few for a big brand like Pakistan Super League (PSL), PSL 2025 edition. A minimum of 8 teams is eligible.
He asked that 3 exhibition matches of the women’s team were held during the PSL matches last year, why were they not held this time?
Waqar Younis made another suggestion that there should be a separate channel and setup for Urdu commentary during PSL.
It should be noted that recently, Islamabad United won the PSL 2024 trophy by defeating Multan Sultans in a thrilling match and won the title for the third time.
