Islamabad: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif left for Saudi Arabia on a three-day visit.
The Prime Minister departed from Lahore to Madinah by PIA flight PK 859, a delegation of 31 people including the Prime Minister and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz departed.
Get the documents of those accompanying the Prime Minister, PIA’s Boeing 777 aircraft was operated from Lahore to Medina, 14 crew members including Captain Zaman and First Officer Ali Saeed are on duty in the aircraft.
This is the first foreign visit of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif after assuming office.
According to the spokesperson of the Foreign Office, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will perform Umrah along with the delegation during his stay in Saudi Arabia from April 6 to 8 and will offer prayers at the Prophet’s Mosque. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif is also expected to meet Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz. The Prime Minister will invite the Saudi Crown Prince to visit Pakistan.
The Prime Minister’s delegation includes Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb, Defense Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif and other senior officials. The Prime Minister and members of his delegation will pay the expenses of the visit from their own pockets.
