ISLAMABAD: CPA has issued an application advertisement regarding increase in electricity price by 2 rupees 94 paise.
The CPA requested Nepra to increase the price of electricity by Rs 2.94 paise per unit for one month. The increase has been sought in the fuel price adjustment for the month of March.
It is stated in the application that 27.63% of electricity was generated from hydel, 10.74% from coal and 20.67% from LNG in March. According to the application, 25.79% of electricity was generated from nuclear, 2.55% from wind and 1.37% from solar. was created About 73 billion rupees were spent on the production of electricity.
The NEPRA authority will hear the application regarding the increase on April 26.
