Washington: The police attacked students protesting against Israeli brutality at the Emory University in America, which made the area look like a battlefield.
According to the international news agency, the police used black pepper and rubber bullets on peaceful students at the University of Atlanta, USA. Dozens of students lost their condition due to the shelling of tear gas, but this coercion and violence could not stop the students from protesting against Israel.
The anti-Israel demonstration by Emory University students was completely peaceful, but police still arrested more than 550 protesters on campus. Clashes also took place between the police and the students.
The anti-Israel protesting students said that they were expressing solidarity with them over the oppression of Palestinians in Gaza, but the law enforcement officers on the orders of the college administration tortured them and arrested more than 500 of them. He was locked up in the police station.
Emil Kemay, a professor of English and local studies at Emory University, said the police violence against the students was reminiscent of the civil war in Guatemala. When he was young and such terrifying scenes are still vivid in his mind.
It should be remembered that the number of Palestinians martyred in the ongoing Israeli bombardment on Gaza since October 7 has exceeded 34,000, while more than 80,000 are injured. Half of the martyred and injured are women and children.
The death of such a large number of women and children caused a wave of outrage around the world and anti-Israel protests intensified.
