Islamabad: The prices of petroleum products are likely to increase for the next 15 days.
According to sources, petroleum products can cost up to Rs.8. The price of petrol per liter is expected to increase by 90 paise. The price of high speed diesel is likely to be increased by Rs 8 per litre. The price of light diesel oil may increase by 2 rupees 76 paise. Kerosene is also likely to be expensive by 41 paise.
Sources further say that Ogra will switch off its working government today to revise the prices of petroleum products. The Finance Ministry will give the final approval today after consulting the Caretaker Prime Minister.
The prices will fluctuate according to the global market. The new prices will be applicable from 12 midnight.
