Islamabad: Prices of petroleum products are expected to decrease from May 16 in the country.
According to the sources, the price of petrol is likely to decrease by Rs 12 per liter and the price of diesel by Rs 9.70 per liter.
OGRA will send the summary to the finance ministry on May 15. This will be the second relief in a row in the current month. The new prices will be applied from Thursday, May 16 after the approval of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
It should be noted that there has been a massive reduction in crude oil prices in the global market, which has been decided in principle to be passed on to the public.
