The Peshawar High Court granted bail to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and leader of the opposition in the National Assembly Umar Ayub and ordered them to appear before the respective courts by November 7.
Chief Justice Peshawar High Court Ishtiaq Ibrahim heard the case, on this occasion Umar Ayub appeared before the court.
Umar Ayub took the stand that he wanted to go to the Assembly session but feared arrest, named in 22 cases after the D Chowk protest.
The PTI leader said that bail should be given so that I can appear in the courts.
The court granted bail and ordered him to appear in the relevant courts by November 7.
Speaking to the media outside the High Court, Umar Ayub claimed that most of our colleagues are being arrested, one billion to three billion rupees are being offered to our assembly members.
Umar Ayub said that every amendment should be discussed, the government will complete the numbers and then we will see.
He further said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman has proposed to give the draft constitutional amendment to the Bar Council, we support it.
