The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sent the proposed schedule of PSL 10 to the franchises.
According to the schedule, maximum ten matches will be played in Gaddafi Stadium Lahore while eight matches will be played in Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
According to the news agency, National Stadium Karachi and Multan Stadium will host five matches each, and four matches will be played at neutral venues. Limited matches in Karachi last season due to crowd turnout.
All ten matches of Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars will be day and night, Karachi Kings and Peshawar Zalmi will play nine matches each while Quetta Gladiators and Multan Sultans will play eight matches each under floodlights.
Kings will host all the five matches of the schedule in Karachi. Qalandars will also play half of their matches at home ground. Gladiators will play their five matches in Lahore, Sultan and United will see action five times each at their respective home grounds i.e. Multan and Rawalpindi.
Zalmi’s five matches will also be played in Rawalpindi. Further, teams will report on 7th April 2025, practice sessions will continue till 11th April.
The opening match between Islamabad United and Lahore Qalandars will be played in Rawalpindi on Saturday, April 12. The next day, two matches will be played between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators in Rawalpindi, while Kings and Multan Sultans will face each other in Karachi.
The opening series of matches in Rawalpindi will end on April 19, while the matches at the National Stadium Karachi will be completed on April 21, the matches will begin on April 22 in Multan and on April 24 in Lahore.
The final match will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium on May 4, after which Rawalpindi will host four matches and Multan will host two matches, with no matches from May 11 to 14, followed by a qualifier on May 15 at a neutral venue.
The eliminator on May 16, Qualifier 2 on May 18 and the final on May 20 will be played.The PCB has not revealed the names of the neutral venues in the proposed schedule but it is likely to be England.
It should be noted that this is the preliminary schedule of the matches which the franchises will review and contact the PCB and changes are possible.
