ISLAMABAD: The World Bank has said that Pakistan’s expenditure is higher than its income.
Matthew Varghese, Regional Director of the World Bank for South Asia, has said in his address at the discussion on financial and governance reforms under the auspices of the Pakistan Institute of Development Economics (PIDE) and the World Bank that the reform process to deal with the current economic crisis. Need to move forward.
He said that Pakistan’s expenditure is more than its income, as a result of which domestic and foreign debts are increasing.
Pakistan Institute of Development Economics Vice-Chancellor Dr. Nadeem-ul-Haq, PID Joint Director Dr. Durnayab and others addressed the event.
