On the fourth day of the first Test match of the series being played at the Multan Cricket Stadium, for the first time, 6 Pakistani bowlers scored 100 or more runs in an innings of Test cricket.
Among the fast bowlers of the national team, Shaheen Shah Afridi scored 120 in 26 overs, Naseem Shah scored 157 in 37 overs, Abrar Ahmed scored 174 in 35 overs, Aamir Jamal scored 126 in 24 overs, Agha Salman scored 118 in 18 overs, while Saeem Ayub scored 14. Gave 101 runs in the overs.
This is the first time in the history of domestic Test cricket that Pakistani bowlers have given so many runs in a single innings. Overall, this was only the second time in the history of Test cricket that 6 bowlers of a team have scored 100 or more runs.
Earlier, 6 bowlers from Zimbabwe scored more than 100 runs against Sri Lanka in the 2004 Bulawayo Test.
