PESHAWAR: PTI has decided to form the government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and has also decided to take a written affidavit from the nominated members to prevent them from switching loyalties.
PTI has started considering various options to form the government in the province for the third time. The leadership of Tehreek-e-Insaaf has called an important meeting on the post-election situation. After getting a simple majority in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the candidates nominated by Tehreek-e-Insaf in the elections have started preparations to form the government in the province.
The leadership of Tehreek-e-Insaf has decided to take a written oath from the members to prevent independent candidates from changing their loyalties. Even during the election campaign, the nominated candidates took an oath not to change their loyalties. In this regard, it has been learned that PTI has started planning to form the government for the third time in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Although Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf is not a part of parliamentary politics as a party, legal and constitutional aspects are being reviewed to form a government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Former Speaker National Speaker Asad Qaiser has said that consultations are being held to review the post-election situation.
He said that in this regard, he is contacting the founding chairman Imran Khan and a meeting of PTI leadership has also been called. Apart from the intra-party election, it is also being thought about approaching the court. All the options are being considered. After the formation of the government, who will be the Chief Minister, he will also be consulted.
