Pakistan’s local mangoes were sold abroad and earned 46.7 million dollars.
The Ministry of Commerce presented the details of mango exports this year in the House, in which it is stated that Pakistan has earned 46.7 million dollars this year by exporting mangoes to 42 countries.
The highest amount of mangoes worth $1.32 million was exported to the United Kingdom, and $9.2 million worth of mangoes to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Mangoes worth 2.2 million dollars were exported to Afghanistan, 1.3 million dollars to Saudi Arabia and 1.7 million dollars to Oman.
Similarly, Kazakhstan exported the highest amount of 8.95 million dollars, Germany 1.9 million dollars and other countries exported mangoes worth 4.4 million dollars.
It should be noted that 13 thousand 681 metric tons of mangoes were exported during the current financial year.
