The Lahore High Court has ordered the removal of the name of MPA Junaid Afzal Sahi from the PCL.
Justice Shams Mahmood Mirza heard the petition to remove the name of Junaid Afzal Sahi from the PS list, on which the court accepted the petition.
Assistant Attorney General Shiraz Zaka opposed the request. The federal government, home ministry and FIA were made parties in the petition.
The petitioner’s position was that the petitioner belongs to an anti-government political party but no case or inquiry is pending against him and he wants to go to pay Umrah.
