Kentucky: A computer expert says there is no evidence that artificial intelligence can be controlled or secured.
According to Roman V. Yampolsky, a Russian computer scientist from the University of Louisville, USA, even partial control over artificial intelligence will not be enough to control its impact on society and save us.
Dr. Roman Yampolsky said that nothing should be neglected in artificial intelligence to ensure that it does not pose any threat to us.
He said that we are facing a certain situation which has full potential to destroy human existence. Therefore, it is not surprising that it is considered the most important problem for humanity.
In research for a book on the subject, Dr. Roman found no evidence that pointed to a solution to the problem of uncontrollable AI.
Since it seems impossible to fully control any AI, safeguards must be introduced for artificial intelligence to make it as safe as possible.
