After Shane Watson and Darren Sammy refused to coach the Pakistan cricket team, news of other former cricketers’ connections with the board started circulating on social media.
A post circulating on social media site Instagram said that the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has contacted Karachi Kings head coach Phil Simms, former English cricketer Eoin Morgan and Luke Ronchi, who represents Islamabad United in the PSL. Contacts are being made for coaching the national team.
Recently, Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi had announced that good news regarding the head coach for the Pakistani team will be revealed within 10 days of the coming week.

Earlier, former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson and former West Indies captain Darren Sammy also resigned from becoming the head coach of the Pakistan cricket team.
PCB is facing difficulties in finding a coach, former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson seemed to be in agreement for $2 million per annum, but according to Mohsin Naqvi, the deal could not be finalized after the details leaked to the media.
Sources say that the board also contacted former English coach Andy Flower but he refused, Mike Hesson, who won the title for Islamabad United, also showed no interest. Former Australian cricketer Simon Ketch is also among those who have apologized, while Justin Langer has also been contacted, but no positive response has been received yet.
