Islamabad: Due to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s ill health, the National Action Plan Apex Committee meeting on the implementation of the National Action Plan for counter-terrorism has been postponed.
The Prime Minister has not chaired any meeting or meeting for the past two days, while no meeting was scheduled today.
The doctor had advised the Prime Minister to take complete rest two days ago on his complaint of fever and chest infection. Future meetings will be scheduled after a check-up this evening.
It should be noted that the meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, was to take a detailed review of the overall law and order situation.
The reasons for the increasing incidents of terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan were to be reviewed and important decisions were to be approved.
The meeting was to be attended by top military and civil leadership, provincial chief ministers and heads of intelligence agencies.
