Federal government’s intra-court appeal in the NAB amendment case will be heard in the Supreme Court today, the government has made arrangements for the appearance of PTI founder Imran Khan through video link in the hearing.
According to prison sources, the management of Adiala Jail has informed PTI founder about the attendance through video link, Supreme Court staff and prison authorities have also contacted through video link connection.
A 5-member larger bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa will hold the hearing at 11:30 today, Justice Aminuddin, Justice Jamal Khan Mandukhel, Justice Atharmanullah and Justice Hasan Azhar Rizvi are also included in the larger bench.
On the petition of founder PTI, the Supreme Court declared the NAB amendments invalid, the court issued a written decision against the NAB amendments on September 15, 2023.
