Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has been given a big relief by the Mumbai High Court in the case of the death of the accused involved in the shooting case.
The court has ordered that the actor’s name be excluded from the investigation into the death of Anuj Thapan, the accused involved in the firing case.
Anuj Thapan was arrested by the police on charges of supplying arms to the suspects who opened fire outside Salman Khan’s house and died in jail on May 1.
Anuj Thapan’s mother filed a case over her son’s death naming the actor and demanding an investigation.
The court has said that the CID has the authority to include anyone for investigation in the case and it will remain with them.
