Lahore: Motorway police recovered drugs worth crores of rupees.
According to the spokesperson, the ANF reported the suspicious car to the Motorway Police, following which the patrolling officers tried to stop the Corolla car KHYA-8127 near the Sial turn. Meanwhile, the driver tried to escape, which was chased and stopped.
After searching the car, 78 kg of opium and 73 kg of hashish were recovered and a person was arrested. Motorway Police handed over the recovered drugs to ANF after legal action. Patrol officers Khurram Shad, Ansir Abbas, Ramzan and Ikram took part in the operation under the supervision of Sector Commander Ghulam Qadir Sindhu and CPO Zaigham.
