Former captain Misbah-ul-Haq supported foreign coaches for the Pakistan team.
Former skipper Misbah-ul-Haq welcomed the possible decision to appoint Jason Gillespie and Gary Kirsten as head coach for the Test format and white-ball cricket and urged to take advantage of his experience.
Misbah-ul-Haq said that I think both of them are very experienced cricketers and understand international cricket. The coach is working.
Regarding Gary Kirsten, Misbah mentioned the successful era of the Indian team and said that everyone knows about Gary Kirsten, he was a great cricketer and he has achieved a lot as a cricketer and as a coach. We should welcome them and give them an opportunity to bring positive change so that Pakistan cricket can move forward.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has not officially announced South Africa’s Gary Kirsten and Australia’s Jason Gillespie as coaches, but both cricketers have been settled.
On the other hand, PCB has advertised for the search of Assistant Coach of Pakistan Cricket Team in both formats.
