As we mark International Women’s Day under the theme “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress,” it’s vital to recognize the seismic impact of digital inclusion in empowering women. PTA is dedicated to ensuring access to ICTs and enhancing gender inclusion across Pakistan. However, real change happens when all stakeholders collaborate to eliminate the digital gender divide.Despite notable strides, women continue to face significant obstacles in achieving equal participation in the digital economy. Our collective efforts must focus on targeted digital skills training, encouraging women to own SIMs in their name, addressing affordability concerns related to mobile devices, advocating for STEM education, and enhancing online safety measures. This International Women’s Day, let us reaffirm our commitment to a future that recognizes the potential within every woman for #HerDigitalPakistan.
