ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met Russian Ambassador Albert P. Khoreev, during which they also discussed increasing cooperation in energy.
The Prime Minister expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives in the attack in Moscow. Shahbaz Sharif said that Pakistan wants to increase bilateral cooperation with Russia in various fields, especially energy, trade and investment.
The Prime Minister reiterated his invitation to President Putin to pay an official visit to Pakistan soon.
The Russian ambassador said that Russia wants to develop strong relations with Pakistan, apart from energy, trade and investment, Russia also wants to increase cooperation in education and culture, both countries are also active in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
