LAHORE: The opposition delegation led by Mahmood Achakzai and Asad Qaiser met the Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan Hafiz Naeem Rehman and invited him to join the protest movement against the government.
The delegation led by Mahmood Khan Achakzai, president of Etihad for Protection of Constitution and PTI leader and former speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser reached Mansurah. Amir Jamaat-e-Islami Hafiz Naeemur Rehman welcomed the delegation.
A meeting was held between opposition leaders and leaders of Jamaat-e-Islami. Mehmood Khan Achakzai gave a formal invitation to Jamaat-e-Islami leader Hafiz Naeemur Rahman to join the protest movement.
Mahmood Khan Achakzai said that we are running a movement for the supremacy of the constitution in the country, our aim is not to change the faces of power.
