The long march of the Awami Action Committee from Mirpur, Bhambar and Kotli towards the capital Muzaffarabad continues for the second day. All the caravans crossed the barriers erected by the government and entered the Poonch limits. There was a clash between police and protesters at the venue.
ASP Mirpur Khawar Ali and Tehsildar Dadyal Sardar Rizwan Latif were injured by stone pelting by the protesters. Tension continues in all districts including Muzaffarabad.
Internet service affected
Internet service across Azad Kashmir, including Mirpur division, is affected late at night due to which citizens are facing difficulties in connecting.
Rangers wanted
Azad Kashmir government has called Rangers to deal with violent protests. The Rangers will immediately take over the responsibility of protecting the Legislative Assembly, Supreme Court, High Court and important government properties. Yesterday, the government decided to call the Rangers after the clash between the protesters and the police. Rangers vehicles entered Azad Kashmir from Kohala bridge.
The funeral prayer of Shaheed Sub-Inspector Police Adnan Qureshi will be offered at the Quaid-e-Azam Stadium. Sub-inspector Adnan Qureshi was martyred by a bullet in the chest during the protest.
The government did not use force

It should be noted that the appeal of the Joint Public Action Committee is being protested for the provision of cheap electricity and cheap flour. Protesters are marching against inflation, unemployment, load shedding and bad policies.
