During a military exercise in central London, the horses suddenly ran aground, injuring 4 soldiers.
According to the International Broadcasting Agency, 5 military horses ran away yesterday during routine military exercises near Buckingham Palace. They were apprehended about two hours after the escape, but at least four people were injured.
The report said that construction work was going on in a building near Buckingham Palace when suddenly the sound of falling concrete startled the horses. The horses belonging to the Household Cavalry galloped, causing chaos.
The stray horses also broke the window of a taxi parked on the road and smashed the windscreen of a double-decker bus. The soldiers injured in the incident were provided immediate medical aid.
It should be noted that the Household Cavalry is the unit of the British Army that has been responsible for the protection of the British Monarchs since 1660.
