KARACHI: One suspect was killed in various police encounters late at night in Shahr Quaid, while 13 suspects were arrested, including 10 injured. Arms and motorcycles were also recovered from the possession of the accused.
According to the police, an accused was arrested in an injured condition in an alleged police encounter near Kaku Madrasa in Etihad Town area of Karachi, while the accomplice of the accused escaped. Weapons were recovered from the possession of the accused.
An alleged police encounter took place near Kala Gate in Pak Colony, Old Golimar. Where 3 suspects of Lyari gang war commander Kashif Dada group were arrested in injured condition.
According to the police, one of the accused died while being transferred to the hospital. 4 pistols and bullets were recovered from the accused. The accused have been jailed many times before.
In North Nazimabad Sector XI B, an accused was also arrested in an alleged police encounter.
According to the police, 2 suspects were arrested in an alleged encounter near Lasbela Chowk, Jamshed Quarter. One accomplice of the accused managed to escape. 2 pistols, 2 mobile phones and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the accused.
In North Nazimabad Block, 2 suspects including an injured suspect were arrested in an alleged police encounter near Q Katti Pahari. Weapons and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the accused.
There were also alleged police encounters in North Nazimabad Sector XI B and Clifton Block One. In both the police encounters, 2 accused were arrested with injuries. Weapons and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the accused.
3 suspects including an injured suspect were arrested in the alleged police encounter near Gulshan Hadid Budh Bazar Kucha Hastan. Arms, mobile phones and a motorcycle were recovered from the possession of the accused.
