Kanika Kapoor Announces Separation from Second Husband After Four Years of Marriage

Bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor has announced her separation from her second husband, Gautam Hathiramani, after four years of marriage, bringing an end to their relationship.

According to a statement shared on her Instagram Story, the couple mutually decided to part ways after careful consideration. Kanika expressed gratitude for the time they spent together and wished Gautam well for the future.

The singer also requested friends and family members to respect their privacy during this difficult period.

Kanika Kapoor and Gautam Hathiramani tied the knot on May 20, 2022, in an intimate wedding ceremony in London. The couple reportedly knew each other for several years before getting married, with their relationship said to have lasted around 15 years.

In earlier interviews, Kanika revealed that she had proposed to Gautam twice, first in 2014 and then again in 2020.

This was Kanika’s second marriage. She was previously married to businessman Raj Chandok in 1998, when she was just 18 years old. The former couple has three children together.

Kanika Kapoor rose to widespread fame in 2014 with the hit song ‘Baby Doll’ from the Bollywood film Ragini MMS 2. The song became a major success and established her as a popular playback singer.

She later delivered several other popular tracks, including ‘Desi Look’ and ‘Da Da Dasse’ from the film Udta Punjab.
