RIYADH: The joint military exercise “Fierce Fury 24” of the Saudi Arabian and American forces has started in Yanbu, a commercial port on the coast of the Red Sea.
According to Arab media, these exercises began in the presence of the commander of the Western Region, Major General Pilot Ahmed Al-Dabis, and the director of the US Central Command, Brigadier General Richard J. Quark.
Naval forces of both countries are participating in these exercises. The purpose of which is to increase military partnership and exchange war experiences and skills.
It should be noted that the US and Saudi forces have conducted military exercises on many occasions before, but their importance has increased in view of the current situation in Gaza and Yemen.
The United States had previously offered to provide nuclear energy facilities to Saudi Arabia, including the supply of weapons, but no further talks could be made on this.
It should be remembered that on the issue of Gaza, America supports Saudi Arabia’s proposal to establish an independent and independent Palestine.
