Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia and Chairman of the Senior Council, Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh, said in a statement that it is not permissible for anyone to go on Hajj without permission. Pilgrims should strictly follow the official instructions and safety measures.
Sheikh Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh further said that the official instructions include obtaining a Hajj permit and getting vaccinated as announced by the Ministry of Health. He said that it is not permissible to go on Hajj without permission. It is in accordance with the interests of Sharia. It is included in the Shariah to improve the spices and remove the evil.
This year, more than 19 lakh pilgrims from all over the world, including 160 thousand Pakistanis, will perform Hajj.
