Gaza: Israel frees 150 Palestinians held hostage during Gaza attacks.
According to a foreign news agency, the Gaza Crossing Authority says that Israeli forces subjected Palestinian prisoners to the worst torture. Two workers of the Palestinian Red Crescent are also among those released.
The spokesman of the Gaza Crossing Authority said in a statement that the released Palestinian prisoners have been transferred to the hospital for treatment. The Palestinians who were released from Israeli prisons say that the Israeli soldiers kept asking questions about Hamas during the worst violence.
According to the Palestinian Prisoners Association, 9,100 Palestinians from Gaza and the West Bank are imprisoned by Israel. These prisoners do not include those taken hostage during the Israeli attacks on Gaza since October 7 last year.
