A vehicle was driven into the Gaza camp located at D Chowk in Islamabad, as a result of which two protesters were killed and three were injured.
According to the spokesman of Jamaat-e-Islami Islamabad, an unknown person drove a car over a person sitting in the protest in the presence of the police. The police took the person in the car into custody and shifted the car to Kohsar police station. The identity of the driver has not yet been released.
Jamaat-e-Islami leader former senator Mushtaq Ahmad said that the government and Islamabad police are responsible for this bloodshed. Arrest the planners of the attack on the peaceful sit-in that has been going on for 8 days.
The funeral prayer of a deceased person was offered at D Chowk. The funeral prayer was led by former senator Mushtaq Ahmed.
