Spokesperson of the Foreign Office, Mumtaz Zahra Baloch has said that Ibrahim Raisi is a friend of Pakistan, we are with the Iranian people in this difficult time.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Office, concern was expressed regarding the helicopter status of Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi. Spokesperson of the Foreign Office said that the Iranian helicopter is awaiting official confirmation of the crash.
Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said that the Pakistani President and Prime Minister are praying for the safety of the Iranian President and Foreign Minister. Ibrahim Raisi visited Pakistan which was a historic visit.
He further said that important agreements were signed between the two countries during his visit. The two countries also discussed how to proceed.
It should be noted that the helicopter of Iranian President Raisi had an accident in East Azerbaijan province on his return from the inauguration ceremony of the dam on the border of Iran and Azerbaijan.
On the other hand, the Iranian media has claimed today that the wreckage of the crashed helicopter of the Iranian president has been found. All 9 people on board the helicopter including the Iranian president have died.
