Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi left for home after completing his visit to Pakistan.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah, Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tesori and other senior officials bid farewell to the Iranian president at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport.
During the three-day visit, the President of Iran met with President Zardari, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Army Chief General Asim Munir and other officials.
During the meetings, various dimensions were discussed, in the meetings, strengthening of Iran-Pakistan relations, promotion of relations in various fields including agriculture, trade, communication, energy, public relations were discussed.
On the occasion of the Iranian President’s visit, it was agreed to increase the trade volume between Pakistan and Iran to 10 billion dollars.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and President Ibrahim Raisi also held a joint conference after the memorandum of understanding ceremony of cooperation in various fields in Islamabad.
During the visit, President Ibrahim Raisi visited Mazar Quaid and Mazar Iqbal and laid wreaths.
