Lahore: Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi reached Lahore, where he visited Mazar-e-Quaid.
Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif received the visiting Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi at Allama Iqbal International Airport and welcomed him.
On the occasion of the arrival of the guest delegation, Senior Provincial Minister Maryam Aurangzeb, Senator Pervez Rasheed, Provincial Information Minister Uzma Zahid Bukhari, Finance Minister Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman, Provincial Minister Secondary Healthcare and Medical Education Khawaja Sulaiman Rafiq, Provincial Minister Food Bilal Yasin, Provincial Minister Industries Chaudhry Shafi Hussain, Chief Secretary, Inspector General Police, Iranian Consul General Mehran Mawahidfar posted in Lahore and others were present on the occasion.
The Iranian President will meet the Chief Minister of Punjab and other officials after visiting the mausoleum of poet Allama Muhammad Iqbal during his visit to Lahore today. He will spend half a day in Lahore and leave for Shahr Quaid Karachi, where preparations under security arrangements and traffic plan have been completed since last night.
