Prithvi Shaw, who represents Delhi Capitals in the Indian Premier League (IPL), has once again found himself in trouble.
According to media reports, the actress has filed a complaint under sections 354, 324 and 509 against the cricketer and his friend Ashish Yadav for molestation.
A local court in Mumbai has ordered Delhi Capitals player Prithvi Shaw to submit a police report by June 19 in the case of molestation of Bhojpuri actress Sapna Gill.
The incident took place last year in a pub in Mumbai’s Andheri area, where the police arrested Bhojpuri actress Sapna Gill for allegedly assaulting Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw.
Earlier, the Indian cricketer Prithvi Shaw was declared innocent in the initial investigation by the police.
A video of Sapna Gill and her friend Shoabit Thakur went viral on social media last year, in which they were seen attacking a Mumbai cricketer’s car with a baseball bat.
On the other hand, the actress had recorded a statement in the court that Prithvi Shah had hit her while apologizing and saying that she should not complain to the police and then went away after apologizing.
Sapna Gul said in the court that Prithvi Shah hit me on the arm and chest. We were there to help the police.
Regarding taking a selfie with Prithvi, the actress said that she does not know Prithvi Shah nor has she ever seen him and he did not ask to take a selfie.
It should be noted that Prithvi is representing Delhi Capitals in this year’s IPL, he has played 2 matches so far, including 43 runs against Chennai and 10 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders.
