The registrar’s office objected that the present application made the same plea, which was made in the earlier application.
The court removed the objection of the registrar’s office and directed to schedule the application for hearing.
In the petition, it has been argued that bail has been approved by the courts in the cases registered against Parvez Elahi.
It is further stated that Pervez Elahi wants to perform Umrah from September 20 to October 5 and go to UK, the court should order to remove the names from the passport control list.
It has been requested in the petition that the court should annul the move to include the name in the passport control list.
It should be remembered that on July 8, 2024, the Lahore High Court ordered the removal of the names of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf President Pervez Elahi, his son Rasakh Elahi and daughter-in-law Zara Elahi from the passport control list.
On June 28, the federal government had put the name of Tehreek-e-Insaf President Pervaiz Elahi in the PCL, which he had challenged in court.
In the petition, the federal government and others were made parties.
