New Delhi: Indian nationals are the number one among foreigners buying houses and building assets in Dubai.
According to Dubai Leaks, 29,700 Indian residents own 35,000 properties in the city, including houses, offices, shopping malls and factories.
The total value of these properties in Dubai by Indian citizens is 17 billion dollars. Thus, Indians are the number one among foreigners who build property in Dubai.
Among the Indians who own properties in Dubai are Modi’s friend and the brother of one of Asia’s richest men, Gautam Advani. Mukesh Ambani also has properties worth 110 billion dollars.
Most of the builders of properties in Dubai from India are industrialists while some politicians, bureaucrats and showbiz personalities etc. are also included in this list.
This report revealed that investors from Asian countries also have a big hand in making Dubai the most modern and developed city in the world and many personalities from these countries have more properties in Dubai than in their own country.
