Mumbai: In the Indian state of Maharashtra, the helicopter that was going to take Sushma Andhra, the woman leader of the extremist Hindu party Shiv Sena, in the context of the election campaign, crashed on the ground during landing.
According to the world news agency, the helicopter that was involved in the accident had come to Raigad to pick up Shiv Sena leader Sushma Andhra. Who had to address election meetings in different areas.
Eyewitnesses say that the helicopter was seen hesitating in the air. The pilot attempted an emergency landing but could not make it and the helicopter fell to the ground.
After the helicopter crash, Sushma Andre left in her car. The pilot sustained minor injuries while the helicopter’s wings and windscreen were broken. This helicopter was acquired on rent from a private company.
According to Aviation, an inquiry committee was formed to investigate the accident.
It should be remembered that on April 29, the helicopter of the former president of the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party and current Home Minister Amit Shah also crashed into the ground while flying.
Amit Shah was safe in this accident. He was also on his way to attend a rally in connection with the election campaign.
