Islamabad: The High Court directed to file a contempt of court petition for not meeting Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi.
The case of implementation of the court order of former prime minister and founding chairman PTI Imran Khan to meet his wife Bushra B was heard, in which Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb inquired why the court order was not followed. The court directed the Advocate General’s Office to contact the concerned authorities and inform them today and summoned the Advocate General Islamabad to the court.
At the beginning of the hearing, Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb inquired whether we had disposed of the application with directions, to which the petitioner’s counsel Usman Gul replied that we had applied for the execution of the order of the same court.
Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb remarked that if you file a contempt of court petition, we will take action. How can court orders be ignored?
Lawyer Usman Gul requested that an order be made to allow the meeting on Eid. It is also under the jurisdiction of the jail authorities.
Later, after a break, the hearing resumed, State Counsel Abdul Rahman from the Advocate General Office appeared in the court. Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb inquired why the court order was not implemented, contact the relevant authorities and inform them today. . The court should be informed today by contacting the Chief Commissioner’s Office, Jail authorities and other parties. The court also directed the State Council in this regard.
It should be noted that the court had directed the meeting of Bushra Bibi with founder chairman PTI Imran Khan on the last hearing and directed to have a meeting on Eid as well. The application was filed against the petitioner for not meeting the founder chairman PTI despite the court order.
