National team captain Babar Azam’s father made an important disclosure regarding his son’s resignation and withdrawal of leadership.
Azam Siddiqui, the father of record-setting national team captain Babar Azam, shared a post on photo uploading site Instagram and wrote that Babar had taken permission from him when he left and resumed captaincy.
He wrote that Allah made Babur the captain as long as he wanted and then removed him and now Babur has been made the captain for which Allah’s creation became the means, Allah is the best giver of genealogy and He is the one who protects him.
Azam Siddiqui further wrote in the post that after being removed from the captaincy, we did not say a single word nor did we complain, yes, when Babar Azam left the captaincy after taking my permission, he said only one word that now it is entrusted to Allah and now Babur has taken back the captaincy again with my permission, as the dutiful sons of humble servants do.
Shaheen Shah Afridi, on the other hand, took to social media to share a video post on his removal from the captaincy, which read, “Don’t ever put me in a position where I have to show how cruel and ruthless I can be.” ! Don’t test my patience because I’m probably the kindest and sweetest person you’ve ever met but once I reach my limit you’ll see me do the unimaginable.
