The anti-corruption court in Lahore has summoned former Punjab Chief Minister Parvez Elahi and other accused for the charge sheet in the case of illegal recruitment.
Judge Arshad Hussain Bhatta of the Anti-Corruption Court heard the case of illegal recruitment against Parvez Elahi and other accused, 10 co-accused appeared in the court.
Pervez Elahi was not produced in court, but his medical certificate was presented, due to which Parvez Elahi and other accused could not be charged even today.
According to the medical report presented in the court, Pervez Elahi had fallen in the washroom of Adiala Jail due to which he fractured his bone and he has not recovered yet.
The medical report further states that Pervez Elahi cannot travel for three weeks, doctors have advised him to rest.
Later, the court adjourned the hearing of the case till May 13 by indicting Parvez Elahi and other accused.
