On the occasion of Hazrat Ali’s martyrdom day, IG Sindh has assured foolproof security measures across the province.
IG Sindh Ghulam Nabi Memon has said that on the occasion of Ali Day, overall security issues should be coordinated and made effective at the main procession passages and places of assembly.
Ghulam Nabi Memon says that the security of procession routes, central gatherings should be ensured by deployment of snipers on watch towers and tall buildings. Security at all entry points leading to the main procession should be exceptional in all respects.
He said that the intelligence should be increased in the surrounding areas of the main and small processions from different areas. There should never be any delay in the process of sharing and following information.
IG Sindh further said that special focus will be kept on snap-checking, patrolling and searching during district-to-district, police station-to-police linkages strategy.
