Mumbai: Indian actor Taha Shah, who played the role of Tajdar in India’s famous filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series ‘Hiramundi: The Diamond Bazaar’, has said that it is a matter of pride to compare his acting with Fawad Khan.
According to Indian media, actor Taha Shah in his recent interview shared his experience of working in the series ‘Hiramundi’ and also talked about the love he received from fans after the series.
A short video clip of this interview is going viral on social media, in which the host asked Taha Shah what he thought about fans comparing his face and character with Fawad Khan and Vicky Kaushal in the web series ‘Hiramundi’. Would you like to say?
Answering the host’s question, Taha Shah said that for me comparison of face and character is not so important, but more important for me is that people compare my acting with big actors.
Taha Shah said that it is my luck and a matter of pride for me that fans have compared my performance in the series ‘Hiramundi’ with big and dashing actors like Fawad Khan and Vicky Kaushal.
The actor added that romance fans compared me with Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan’s romance, which is also a matter of pride for me.
It should be noted that director Sanjay Leela Bhansali has entered the OTT platform through the web series ‘Hira Mandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ released on Netflix on May 1.
The mega cast of this series includes Sonakshi Sinha, Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, Richa Chadha, Sanjeeda Sheikh, Sharmain Segal, Taha Shah and Fardeen Khan.
‘Hira Mandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ is set in the 1940’s era while the story revolves around the relationship between courtiers and prostitutes.
