Senior actress of Pakistan showbiz Sadia Imam has admitted in the morning show of a private channel that her husband stopped her from working in showbiz after marriage.
Sadia Imam stayed away from showbiz for a long time after marriage, but since few years she has been appearing in TV programs and showbiz events.
Earlier in 2020, she denied the reports of her quitting showbiz in an interview and claimed that she did not quit showbiz and was not stopped by her husband.
However, now Sadia Imam has admitted that her husband Adnan Haider stopped her from working in showbiz because of his ego.
The actress made this confession in a morning show of a private channel where she was discussing the problems of women before and after marriage, in this program she also mentioned the difficulties she faced.
Sadia complained that she wanted to do more in showbiz and had the talent but her husband stopped her from working. And it wasn’t because of anything, it was just because of her husband’s ego problem.
Advocating women who want to work after marriage, the actress said that there is a certain mindset in our society that needs to be changed and such mindset will be changed through other mediums including TV programs.
