According to a foreign news agency, Hunter Biden, the son of US President Joe Biden, was convicted of possessing a weapon while intoxicated. For the first time in American history, the son of a sitting president has been convicted.
A 12-member jury in the state of Delaware found Hunter Biden guilty of three counts in its verdict, saying the US president’s son made false statements about drugs and handguns in 2018.
Reacting to the decision, US President Joe Biden said that I accept the decision against Hunter Biden and we respect the judiciary. Will also accept the results of the future trial.
He said that Hunter will appeal the case against Biden.
It should be noted that Joe Biden’s son could potentially be sentenced to 25 years in prison in the case.
