Famous actress Priyanka Chopra’s mother Dr. Madhu Chopra has recalled the most difficult moment of her life and told how Hrithik Roshan and Rakesh Roshan helped her family when it was not possible to take Priyanka’s father to the US for treatment.
Dr. Madhu Chopra said that her husband Dr. Ashok Chopra was diagnosed with cancer and needed to be shifted to Boston for treatment, but the airlines refused to allow him to travel due to his serious medical condition.
Madhu said that at that time Priyanka was busy shooting for the film Krrish and she shared this difficult situation with Hrithik and Rakesh Roshan. On this, both of them immediately offered help. They spoke to the airlines and supported her in such a situation, due to which she was successful in taking her husband to Boston.
Madhu Chopra added that her husband wanted to keep his illness a secret and did not share his worries with her, which was even more painful for her.
Dr. Ashok Chopra lost his life in 2013 after battling cancer for eight years.
