ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi has said that the people of Pakistan have given their decision loud and clear.
Any attempt to manipulate the people’s mandate will result in instability and chaos, he tweeted.
He said that the heat of the election process has passed, it is the time to heal the wounds of the country, Nawaz Sharif, Asif Zardari, Imran Khan, Maulana Fazlur Rehman and other political leaders have gone beyond minor differences to face the enormous challenges facing the country. We must work together to meet the challenges.
Shahid Khaqan Abbasi added that they need to recognize that history is not kind to selfish politicians.
