New York: Haris Rauf, the fast bowler of the national team, has won the world title of taking the fastest century of wickets in T20 International, while he has said that taking wickets is not a goal but an honor to represent Pakistan.
According to the details, Haris Rauf completed the fastest century of taking wickets in the 22nd and 71st match of the T20 World Cup played against Canada.
Among the fastest 100-wicket takers in T20Is, Rashid Khan of Afghanistan is on the first place with 54, while Hasaranga of Sri Lanka is on the second place, who has achieved this honor in 63 matches.
Pakistani fast bowler Haris Rauf took 100 wickets in T20 format in 71st match and became the third world bowler while fourth is Mark Adair of Ireland who has taken 100 wickets in 72 matches.
Talking to the media after the match Haris Rauf said that taking wickets is not my goal but I consider it an honor to represent Pakistan, victory is very important and I will try to win the next match.
He said that he played good cricket but could not win two matches. If he comes after injury, he will try to perform like in the past. “It’s difficult to make a big score in New York,” he said.
